You need to eat



We just love wings! We're always trying to find new ways of having them and this was perfect. Oven roasted, sticky, sweet, spicy and salty. How can you go wrong? Addictive!

Here's what you'll need

  • 1 cup soya sauce
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp sambal oleek
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup sesame oil
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  1. season the wings really well with salt and pepper and bake in a °350 degree oven for 40 minutes

  2. in the meantime, sautee garlic and ginger in a bit of sesame oil for a minute or two

  3. add the rest of the ingredients and simmer until starting to thicken, remove and set aside

  4. toss the wings in the sauce and pop back into the oven to finish cooking (about 10 minutes)

  5. sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onion if you like
